Emirates International Accreditation Center Dubai, a division of the Dubai Municipality, is now the standards body for pool and beach lifeguards in the Emirate of Dubai.
A recent publication by the Emirates International Accreditation Centre directs all schools, hotels and any other building with swimming pools in Dubai must hire suitably qualified lifeguards to supervise the pools before July 2017.
Further, these lifeguards must hold a current certification from a qualification centre that is accredited by the Emirates International Accreditation Centre.
We are delighted to inform you that Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance (HABC) is now an EIAC accredited certification body for pool and beach lifeguards.
As an HABC approved training centre Algebra Training DWC LLC is in a position to assist you in complying with the new Dubai certification and compliance regulations.
Currently Highfield Awarding Body for Compliance is the only International Awarding body accredited by EIAC for Lifeguarding.
In addition to pool or beach lifeguard certification successful candidates will also receive certification approved by Dubai Corporation of Ambulance Services (DCAS) for ‘Emergency First Aid and safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator’ should the candidates meet the standards required.
It is our understanding that current lifeguards must be re-assessed to meet the new regulations before July 2017.
